About Enrollment

Membership and participation are open to anyone capable of swimming one full lap of freestyle or any other competitive stroke without stopping.  However, swim team is not a substitute for lessons.  The coaches will evaluate marginal swimmers within the first two weeks to determine if they can truly benefit from competitive swimming.

Swimmers also may be placed on the developmental team after evaluation by the coaches.  HHAA reserves the right to cap the number of swimmers in an age group.  This is done on a first come, first serve basis.

Parents are reminded of the amount of involvement required to conduct a swim meet and operate a swim team.  All parents are required to work most meets and swimmers are expected to attend meets.

Registration will be held on August 31,  Sept. 1st and  2nd at Simmons Elementary School on Babylon Rd. from 7:00 till 8:00 P.M. Existing HHAA families may download the Registration Form from this site and mail it in.  New participants must come to the walk-in registration - please bring your completed form with you.  The first night is for Hatboro-Horsham residents only. Swimmers in other school districts may register on September 1st and 2nd. There is an additional fee for out of district residents. A copy of the birth certificate is required for new members.

Season

The Aquatic Club will begin the season with practice starting Monday, Sept. 20th. New members and former developmental team participants must attend a night that will be announced on the website from 6:00- 7:00 for evaluation and placement. Monthly practice schedules will be posted on this site, as the practice times will change as the season progresses.  Swim Meet schedule will also be posted on the website by mid October. Swim meets are on Saturdays during the season, and the first swim meet usually occurs on the first Saturday in November.
